Blog #2: Why kids should have a    weekend

Kids need a weekend because it’s their time to relax, enjoy their life as a kid and to wake up whenever they want to. I feel as though that kids need their time because they go to school all week and only have two or more days to relax. Plus when we grow up we’ll have to work.

It’s a time where they can go out to the mall, go over friend’s house, and just chill. We even don’t have to do classwork or hear the annoying teachers talk. The only work we have to do is our homework and to study.

In conclusion, kids need their weekends because they just need time to be children and relax. This is why I feel weekends are important to kids.

Blog #2: A career of my choice

A career that I would want when I get older is to be a doctor. The type of doctor I want to be is a surgeon. Becoming a doctor or a surgeon is an honorable goal, but it is a long and challenging process. You have to pursue a bachelor’s degree. It is important to note that medicine, and especially surgery, is not a career you can enter quickly in.

It takes a great deal of intelligence motivation, and patience to finish the training as it takes many years of study to practice professionally. The path to being a doctor typically takes a minimum of 12 years after high school, specialties with extensive training periods can take five or more years.

In conclusion, I would like to work as a doctor for the rest of my life because I get to help many people who need me and my knowledge so I can help people. Being a doctor will also make all those around me proud and happy that I really succeeded in life and that if they as my family need my help then they’ll receive it.

Blog #’ “A mistake I made and learned from”

A mistake I made and learned from was one I was distracting the class and I got kicked out. My mistake was that I was having outburst and I was causing chaos in the class. Ms. Hassell addressed my actions right away. I thought that she was going to let my actions slide but I was wrong. Man I almost got away with it!

Then we had a discussion, she told me that my actions were wrong because I was distracting others and sadly I was wrong. I apologized to the Ms. Hassel and told her it will never happen hopefully. However she didn’t let it slide and now I found myself in detention where I had to stare at my blank computer screen. Sounds like fun right? Anyway I was sitting and then Ms. Hassel wanted to make me clean the entire computer screen of every computer. I only cleaned one and sat down. Desperate to get out I just stared and stared, next thing you now I’m free! Finally!

I told her I would try my best to not have any outburst anymore. She said that she wants the best for me and that I should control my actions in a better way. I agreed. Now I think twice about my actions because I don’t want any harsh punishments that I will regret. So in the end I learned my lesson to not do anything that will distract others because I’m going to get in trouble and I don’t want that.

Something i would say to people who don’t think twice is if you don’t think twice then you might be paying the price.
